The course …

We hope you’re still enjoying this fine off-season to the full. As you may have noticed, a number of jobs have been carried out in recent weeks to improve the condition of the greens. This work mainly involves aerating and sanding the ground, overseeding the greens and repairing damage caused by Dollar Spot attacks. All this work is being carried out in line with our philosophy of not using products that are harmful to nature. We hope to see a significant improvement over the coming weeks as the seeded grass germinates and begins to grow.

In addition to the work carried out by the greenkeepers, as a player you have a great responsibility for the upkeep of your course. Unfortunately, every day we see people playing  without changing pitches, and as a result we are seeing more and more damage due to unrepaired pitchmarks on the greens. As a reminder, an unrepaired pitchmark becomes a disease and takes around 3 weeks to recover. Here’s a brief explanation of the repair procedure. https://youtu.be/GuYXMn4tA10

Draily Laboratory competition

Laboratoire Draily is a dental prosthesis laboratory located in Brussels that supplies all types of crowns, prostheses and dental appliances exclusively to dentists throughout Belgium.

During the month of October, Draily will be handing out 10 balls with their logo on the driving range, which will then be placed in the ball machine. If a player finds one of these balls in his basket, the lucky winner must go to the secretariat to receive his free Oral-B electric toothbrush in exchange for the ball. There are 10 electric toothbrushes to be won!
