Dear members, dear visitors,
First of all, on behalf of the entire team at Brussels Drohme Golf Club, I would like to wish you all the very best for 2024.
May this year bring you much pleasure, health and great moments of golf!
To get the New Year off to a good start, I invite you to join us for a drink on Sunday 21 January at 5pm in the clubhouse.
As far as the clubhouse is concerned, I can inform you that we have reached an agreement with a new manager. He will introduce himself later in this newsletter, but for many of you he will be a familiar face.
The current manager will remain in place until Sunday 14 January. After that, the clubhouse will be closed for up to five days for refurbishment. On Saturday 20 January, it will reopen as normal. During this period, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea at the reception desk in the secretariat.
We thank you in advance for your understanding and look forward to celebrating the New Year with you on Sunday 21 January.

We’ve missed you!
After a few difficult years (Covid), we’re back, much to our delight! And I hope yours too.
For those of you who don’t know us yet, a quick introduction is in order. With over 20 years’ experience in the hotel and catering industry (including 10 years managing a golf clubhouse) and currently working at the Royal Amicale Anderlecht Golf Club, we’ll be at your service from 20 January 2024, cooking up some of our very own local dishes (brasserie style) and organising your various section days to the best of our ability.

Using TrackMan Range© or any other analysis system, we can work with you to create a winter plan, ensuring that you train and play purposefully and successfully in the new year 2024.

The 9 hole course : new procedures
The new bag tags have arrived. Please collect them from the secretary’s office and attach them to your golf bag so that they are clearly visible.
If you are going to play on the course, we would ask you to follow the following procedures:
- Reserve the course via BE-Golf
- Before playing the course, you must register. There are two ways of doing this.
- Go to the secretariat and confirm your presence
- Scan the QR code located before the first tee with your mobile phone.
Registration is compulsory for everyone who will be playing on the course. If you do not register, you risk being refused access to the golf course.
In this way, together we ensure that tee times are not unnecessarily booked without anyone actually playing. It is also important for our team to know who is playing on the course for safety reasons.
In the event of a no-show, i.e. if someone has booked but doesn’t turn up, that person will receive a one-off warning by e-mail. If this happens a second time, that person will not be able to book the golf course for an entire week. If this happens a third time, the person will be barred from playing for a month.
Therefore, if you are unable to play, even at the last minute, be sure to cancel so that the course can be freed up for a later date.
